Summary
Artificial intelligence is increasingly used in manufacturing, but its effect on human behavior and performance is not well understood. This project addresses that gap by studying how AI assistance influences visual attention during a 3D printing leak detection task. Using eye-tracking technology, the system measures gaze patterns such as fixation duration and movement to compare assisted and non-assisted conditions. The goal is to better understand how AI affects human interaction and task performance in manufacturing environments.
