Summary
Providing reliable neonatal care in resource-limited settings can be challenging due to cost and infrastructure constraints. This project addresses that challenge by developing a low-cost neonatal incubator designed for use in rural Ghana. The system maintains a stable thermal environment through controlled airflow and monitoring of temperature and humidity, with battery backup for power interruptions. The design emphasizes use of locally available components. The goal is to improve access to neonatal care and support better health outcomes for premature infants.
