Summary
Accessing relevant, high-quality educational images for K–12 learning can be time-consuming and inconsistent. This project addresses that challenge by developing a local, searchable image database built from Wikimedia Commons. The system uses tools such as ChromaDB and OpenCLIP to organize and retrieve images based on content, with local storage to support reliable access. The goal is to provide educators with a structured, efficient way to find and use visual resources that support teaching and learning.
