Summary

Pilots using handheld tablets for communication may need to divert attention from flight instruments, affecting situational awareness. This project addresses that challenge by designing a mounting system for use in the MV-22 Osprey cockpit. The system secures the tablet within the pilot’s line of sight using existing mounting points and supports adjustability and quick release. The goal is to reduce head-down time, improve access to mission information and support safer, more effective flight operations.
