Summary
Sorting battery cells based on performance data can be time-consuming and prone to human error. This project addresses that challenge by working with Wisk Aero to develop an automated sorting system. The system uses vision-based scanning to read identifiers and evaluate cell data, then directs sorting through a programmable logic controller and robotic system. A monitoring interface provides real-time system status and performance data. The goal is to improve processing speed, increase accuracy and support more consistent quality control in battery handling.
