14 T1 Motion Sensor Redesign and Verification Testing

Summary

Motion sensors used in automatic door systems can be bulky, prone to false triggering and limited in durability under varying environmental conditions. This project addresses that challenge by working with Summit Automation to redesign a motion sensor that improves size, reliability and weather resistance. The team developed a more compact and sealed design with updated components and waterproof connections. The goal is to enhance performance, reduce false activation and support reliable operation across different environments while maintaining efficient manufacturing.
