04 Ergonomic Media Separator

Summary

Industrial equipment can present ergonomic and safety challenges that affect operator efficiency and workflow. This project addresses that issue by working with Amphenol Aerospace to improve an existing media separator system. The team developed a protective enclosure with safety interlocks, along with a human-machine interface and programmable logic controller for control and monitoring. The system integrates with factory software and supports increased automation. The goal is to improve safety, reduce physical strain and enhance overall operational efficiency.
