Summary
Perovskite solar cells offer potential for energy generation but face challenges due to chemical instability during operation. This project addresses that issue by working with Beyond Silicon to develop a degradation simulation system for testing cells at open circuit voltage. The system recreates controlled conditions using a solar light simulator, temperature variation and low-moisture environments. These capabilities support more consistent and accurate testing of material performance. The goal is to improve testing efficiency and help advance the development of more stable perovskite solar chemistries.
