Human Systems Engineering

Summary

Operational decision-making in airport environments often occurs under time pressure, which can affect performance and safety. This project addresses that challenge by analyzing human factors that influence decision-making in these conditions. The study examines how time constraints impact judgment, coordination and error likelihood. The goal is to improve understanding of decision processes and identify factors that can support safer and more effective airport operations.
